Thank You!

November 23rd, 2008

Wow – Sarah and I knew that the day would fly by, but what an experience! We were on cloud nine the whole day! Thank you to everyone that came out and made our day so very special. After all that planning it’s so very satisfying to have things come together.

We love you all and look forward to seeing you as Mr. and Mrs. Fordyce!

Daniel,

It has been a joy watching you grow into the fine young man you are today.  God has given you creative talents and it is exciting to see you use them.  We are thankful for Sarah and how she is loving and encouraging you.  It was great having her in our home and getting to know her better.  The wedding will be a joyful time to celebrate your marriage and have the family together.  The honeymoon sounds great, Sarah! We know you are both ready to sit by a pool and relax.  See you soon.

Love and blessings,

Mom and Dad

Sunshine, here we come!

October 8th, 2008

Wedding planning is a lot more intense than I thought it would be. My little girl dreams of my big day definitely did not include a to do list of nitty gritty details that must be taken care of. All of the big things are done (including the fun cake tasting portion), leaving just those last, un-fun chores that we now must cram in to about 6 weeks now. In the midst of all the un-fun stuff, there is a little reward waiting for us…the honeymoon!

The question we get asked most now is, “So…where’s the honeymoon?” So Daniel and I thought we would write a little bit about it. Since we went to the Philippines earlier this year, we couldn’t take tons of days off work for the wedding. So we thought we’d head on out to Palm Springs for a little fun in the (November) sun. Just by chance, when we were casually flipping through a travel magazine we stumbled upon a little mid-century oasis. Its this cute little 9 room hotel that is all decked out in 1950’s style furniture. It features a salt water pool, free breakfast, and we can borrow their beach cruisers for our very first bike ride as Mr. and Mrs Fordyce.

So, as I drown in a sea of wedding details, when it feels as though I cant make another list, I think of Daniel and I lounging by the pool sipping cocktails and enjoying our first moments of wedded bliss.

Where is the little girl I carried?

October 5th, 2008

The song, “Sunrise, Sunset” has been going through my mind in these days that are leading up to Sarah’s wedding. It’s hard for me to believe that it has been 27 years since Sarah was a baby. What a delight she has been to our family. Sensitive, Sweet, Sarah.

We are excited that Sarah has found Daniel, a great guy who loves our Sarah for who she is. Daniel brings a great sense of humor and encouragement to our family. We are looking forward to the wedding and this next chapter of life.

We look forward to seeing you all at the wedding!

Judy–Mother of the Bride

swiftly fly the years,
one season following another,
laden with happiness and tears”

Welcome!

Sarah Moyal and Daniel Fordyce

Hi! Welcome to the website for the marriage of Sarah Moyal and Daniel Fordyce. We wanted to set this site up as a central location where you can find out more information about the ceremony. We are so excited to see all of you at the celebration of our commitment to each other!

This website seemed like a good way to keep you all informed of what we’re planning for the wedding and to give you easy links to maps, gift registries and generally let you know what’s going on. In the future, we’d like to post a photo gallery of our wedding on this site, for you to check out. We’ll try and keep writing new posts as the date draws near, so check back to read about what’s going on and leave us some comments.

We might even be able to convince our parents to write a few posts, as well! :)

With love,

Daniel and Sarah
